What’s so great about natural beauty?
isuckatphysics asked:
Once someone finds out a beautiful woman had cosmetic surgery, they discredit her beauty.
It’s plastic and not natural. But what’s so great about natural beauty? Physical beauty is something God gave to her; she can’t take credit for it. Why are natural beauties (men and women that did nothing to earn their good looks) exalted in society?
isuckatphysics,

Brazilian butt lifts to go with current fashions?
Andrea S asked:
I was reading in the NY Metro subway paper about women who are getting cosmetic surgery to make their butts rounder. The reason for this is because of the current style such as skinny jeans. They want to look good in these current trends. Is it me or is this the most ridiculous thing ever?

As an African - American female, should I work for makeup store with products catered to Caucasians?
CaramelSunshine asked:
I have experience in makeup and am looking into a position with a cosmetics franchise company as a part-time makeup artist a few hours per week. From doing research, I found that the line mostly caters to Caucasian White women and does not have a true customer base of women of color. Should I still pursue working this position or is it possible that they would be more apt to hire a Caucasian employee being that most of the customers that come to the store are this race? Do you feel that they would be more comfortable hiring a Caucasian person to work in the store. I never see any African American women in the store at all and when I anonymously called like an interested customer and asked if they carry makeup products for African American or darker skin, the woman said no hardly and that shes sorry n wishes their selection was expanded more. I know this could b considered a crazy question, but just thought I would ask. Wondering if they and I would be a comfortable combination. Thanks

Does eating natural, organic and using natural cosmetics/products make a difference healthwise?
Luke asked:
I try to eat natural, if not organic, then at least washed really well, and I tend to try to eat healthy. I also use natural or organic nail polish, nail polish remover, lip gloss, things of that nature, any type of cosmetics hair products etc.
Does it really make a difference if little things such as your lip gloss and cosmetics are natural, free or carcinogens?
I mean certain things, and yes as a male I still get a manicure/pedicure, and use natural nail polish and natural nail polish remover from honeybeegardens.
I don’t think things for women like mascara, if it’s natural or not, really matters, because hell, it’s mascara, how is it going to get absorbed anywhere?
But things that lie on your skin/nails/lips and stay there for a long time, isn’t it important then that the products you use are SAFE?
Even if theyre’ not natural, as long as they’re “safe”, or is there no such thing as safe?
Any opinions?
I mean OBVIOUSLY if you’re going to use a self-tanner, and facial cosmetics and if you dye/bleach your hair, there really isn’t TOO much you can do to stay natural, but there are still options. Origins, Aveeno, aren’t bad. Aveda.
However, does it really make a difference, or does it not matter at all?
I mean there are those who smoke their whole life and they’re fine, so,…
am I being way too vain for using natural lip glosses and natural nail polishes?

For Muslim women?
♥ terry g ♥ asked:
Why are some of you so catty to others, so quick to condemn them and tell they they are basically ‘not Muslim enough.’ What gives YOU the right to pass any amount of judgement on anybody? If I listen to music in ANY form, pluck ANY hairs, wear cosmetics or perfume containing alcohol, what business is it of yours?
Just wondering, because there appear to be some either extremely arrogant, uninformed and/or hateful women here who feel they have the right to judge as God does.
By the way, don’t bother attacking my character unless you are open to receiving email. If you can dish it out, at least be adult enough to be open to discussion.
Moonlit: WHO exactly do you think I am impersonating???? Look at my profile.
PLEASE LOOK AT MY PROFILE!!!! I am no longer a ‘Top Contributor’ here because I got sick of the nonsense and spent more time elsewhere. My profile and Q&A say it all.

Is a woman without a man like a fish out of water?
ighamgene asked:
Women only: Please take my quiz. No names, just your age and your country of origin. I am writing a book.
1. On a scale from 1-10, rate how much you want to have a husband, now or in the future, where 1 means you don’t want a husband and 10 means you would do almost anything to get a husband.
2. On a scale from 1-10, rate how badly you would feel if you never got married, where 1 means you would be fine with no husband and 10 means no husband would ruin your life.
3. Do you sometimes wear sexy but uncomfortable shoes or clothing?
4. Have you had any kind of cosmetic surgery?
5. Have you dieted too much?
6. Have you had sex when you didn’t want to?
7. Have you had an abortion? How many?
8. Does your man ever verbally humiliate you?
9. Does your man ever strike you in anger?
10. Has your man ever cheated on you? Did you take him back?
11. Has your man ever sexually or physically abused your children or grandchildren? Did you stay with him?
Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for your answers. You’re very kind to take the time and give it the thought that you did. Although I tried to make the questions morally neutral, I seem to have caused some animosity. Just to clarify, I am a rabid feminist and I hate the suffering and abuse of women and children at the hands of their intimate partners. I hate it. The numbers are staggering worldwide and it has been so throughout recorded history.
It appears from your answers that you are among the majority of women who are not hell bent to have a man. But, to some women, any man is better than none. Those women and their children are at risk for abuse.
Again, thank you for your time and consideration. I will take your advice and post this on a different board.

If Women naturally If not shaven would have moustache( little), why medical books say only men have?
Merdi asked:
I’ve seen many Women that when young and not very into beauty yet, have a bit of moustache. My sisters also had a bit of moustache. My mother too.
Not much. but alittle. And we are hispanic.
I also saw in Japanese tv music show, this Japanese lady when she w as young and she had moustache.. Then when she went back to the show as a grown up she was all beautified( through make up, cosmetics, and i’m sure waxed or shaved) and had no more mustache. But that’s cause she most likely waxed or shaved or whatever.
